Amrita Rao becomes highest paid actress down south

Amrita Rao's Telugu film 'Atithi' opposite popular Telugu actor Mahesh Babu had started in Delhi and is now shifted to Hyderabad.

If sources are to be believed, her remuneration is one crore for the film. Thus Amrita becomes one of the highest paid actresses in South India.

Some shots were also canned in Rajasthan's Jaipur Palace. The film is based on a family subject and is supposedly a total entertainer. Ramesh babu under the anner of Krishna Productions produces the film. Surender Reddy is the director.

Amrita's co-star Mahesh Babu is known for his acting and dancing skills. He is the ounger son of legendary superstar Krishna. His recent release 'Pokiri' is one of the biggest hits in Telugu. It will be remade to Hindi soon. He is also the husband of Namrata Shirodkar.
